Artist appreciation post: I tried to express what I felt when experiencing this sculpture piece “Open Ended” (2007-2008) by Richard Serra (RIP), exhibited at Museum Voorlinden in Wassenaar.
Filmed in 2020, during the pandemic times, this was a rare moment to visit an exhibition. The music I composed in March 28th 2024. When I heard about the passing of Serra, I could only just react in these slightly haunting cello sounds to say thank you.
